Associate Regional Sales Director – Latin America

Job Description: Responsible for driving sales results, managing the field team, and developing and implementing business strategies in Latin America to ensure achievement of sales objectives and goals. Job duties: • Create demand to achieve or exceed sales goals for Latin America. • Manage the Latin America field team. • Develop and execute sales strategies. • Manage budget allocated to the Latin America region. • Interface with customers in the region to introduce/promote MicroVention products and develop/maintain relationships. • Provide distributors with necessary support to grow their local businesses. • Manage and monitor local distribution channels. Recommend changes to the distribution channels, if necessary, for the Latin America region. • Gather, analyze, and report periodically customer information, account profiles, market shares, competitive activities, and other market statistics. • Develop, update, and provide sales forecasts regularly. • Support local product training events, conferences, and physician programs by closely working with the Latin America field team, MV’s Regional and Global Marketing Teams, and distributors. • Comply with local laws in relation with tenders/contracts, vigilance reporting, and relations with healthcare professionals. • Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization. • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience in neuro-interventional business. • Minimum three (3) years of management experience. • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. • Knowledge of global markets. • Knowledge of neuro and vascular anatomy and physiology. • Understanding of medical device regulations in clinical use, promotions, and ethical codes. • High attention to detail; capacity to analyze problems and develop solutions. • Ability and flexibility to travel to hospitals and participate in training/marketing events in Latin America. • Strong MS Office proficiency with emphasis on PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Desired Qualifications • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. • Effective multi-tasking skills. • Capacity to consistently meet deadlines, provide attention to detail, and work autonomously. • Ability to effectively interface with field sales teams, physicians, hospital staff and administration, R&D staff, Marketing, and worldwide distributor organizations. • Ability to communicate in English professionally. Physical • Extended periods of computer use. • Extended periods of standing, sitting, or speaking. • Moderate walking. • Light lifting, up to 25 lbs. • May be required within the position to be in an environment that can include radiation exposure (such as in Cathlabs). • Extensive international travel. • Participation in clinical cases.
