Opportunity Overview: Team Overview:

The Market Operations (MO) team partners with the firm's Market Leaders to drive strategic alignment, empower execution, and ensure the successful realization of Market Business Plans. Through cross-functional collaboration and strategic insights, MO enables market teams to unlock growth, deliver value, and achieve operational excellence. The MO team serves Market Leaders by acting as the bridge within Market & Practice Solutions and other stakeholders in the Home Office that support market and practice optimization. The Director leads and develops a team of Market Operating Managers, empowering them to serve as trusted advisors to field leaders and key connectors across the organization. The Director is also responsible for defining, evolving, and optimizing the MO function to ensure effective stakeholder partnerships, consistent execution, clear accountability, and maximum value creation for the field and the firm.

What You'll Do:

• Lead, develop, and inspire a team of highly skilled and tenured professionals, creating an environment that leverages their expertise while advancing team performance, engagement, and business impact • Partner with Market Leaders, Home Office leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, remove barriers, and accelerate achievement of market and enterprise objectives • Drive strategic and executional alignment across organizations by influencing decisions, building consensus, and navigating complex business challenges that require collaboration across multiple functions • Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve operating effectiveness, enhance stakeholder experiences, and drive scalable solutions across the organization • Represent Market Operations with senior leaders across the firm, communicating business insights, recommendations, risks, and progress while leading organizational change and driving accountability for results

Position Requirements: What Experience You Need:

• Bachelor’s degree required • A minimum of 7 years of work experience, 3 of which must be in a leadership role • Strong knowledge of the financial services industry and related business practices and processes • Broad knowledge of, and proven ability to collaborate across, key functional areas to achieve business objectives, including field leadership, practice strategy and management, client and practice support and solutions, service delivery, operations, technology, risk management, and compliance • Working knowledge of technology, systems, and digital tools relevant to financial services industry with the ability to leverage technology to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and stakeholder outcomes • Experience leveraging business, analytical, and systems-thinking skills to solve complex challenges, navigate ambiguity, and improve organizational effectiveness • Experience influencing and aligning senior stakeholders, communicating with executive audiences, and driving results without direct authority • Experience evaluating the impact of evolving industry standards on branch support and business operations

What Will Set You Apart : • MBA or other relevant master's degree; Series 7 license preferred • Financial services industry experience supporting field-facing organizations, market leaders, or business planning initiatives • Experience building or scaling enterprise capabilities, governance frameworks, and operating standards to improve stakeholder experience, operational efficiency, and business outcomes Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week."
