Job Description: Cash Application Team Lead Global Business Services - Decatur, IL This is a full-time non-exempt level position.

Position Summary The Cash Application Team Lead is responsible for leading the Cash Application team within the NA Global Business Services organization. This role oversees daily operations, ensures timely and accurate application of customer payments, supports process improvements, strengthens controls, and develops team members to deliver excellent customer service and operational performance.

Required Qualifications • High school diploma required. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred. • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred. • Experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, Shared Services, or Global Business Services environments preferred. • Continuous Improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar) is a plus. • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and business stakeholders. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership • Lead, coach, and develop Cash Application team members. • Provide timely performance feedback and support employee development. • Manage staffing, onboarding, training, and performance management activities. • Foster a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused team environment. Cash Application Operations • Oversee daily cash application activities to ensure payments are processed accurately and on time. • Monitor workloads, service levels, and key performance metrics. • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment issues and improve customer experience. • Ensure operational compliance with company policies and internal controls. • Monitor distribution of work utilizing multiple systems to gather and analyze data. • Coach and Train staff on processes and process improvements. Process Improvement & Controls • Identify process improvement opportunities that increase efficiency, improve quality, and reduce costs. • Analyze errors, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. • Maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials. • Support system enhancements and automation initiatives, including appropriate use of AI-enabled tools. • Ensure strong financial and SOX controls are maintained within the process. • Assist with Audit inquiries and responding within 24 hours. Stakeholder Management • Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, customers, and leadership teams. • Communicate process changes, performance results, and improvement initiatives. • Lead meetings and present operational updates and recommendations. Reporting & Metrics • Monitor and analyze operational performance, quality, and productivity metrics. • Review process costs and performance trends and recommend improvements. • Use data to drive decisions and support continuous improvement efforts. : Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
