Job Description: The Opportunity The employee experience is the heartbeat of our culture. As the Manager, Employee Experience Analytics, you will be the dedicated analytics partner to the People & Culture (P&C) COE. Your mission is to quantify the employee journey, creating the metrics that define "experience" and "effectiveness" at BAE Systems. By owning the survey platform and content (in partnership with P&C) ecosystem, you will ensure that we are asking the right questions across the employee experience.
What You’ll Lead in This Role • P&C Strategic Partnership: Act as the primary analytics consultant for the People & Culture COE, translating their program goals into measurable KPIs. Liaise with the program manager to support survey deliverables. • Survey Methodology Guidance: Apply advanced survey research methods to design valid, reliable instruments and guide best‑practice methodology across the enterprise. • Employee Experience (EX) Metric Development: Define and track metrics for "Employee Experience (EX)" and "EX Effectiveness," providing a data-driven view of the employee lifecycle. • Platform Ownership: Serve as the primary administrator for Qualtrics, managing the tool's configuration, user access, and overall health. • Listening Strategy Support: Own the enterprise survey calendar, coordinating the timing and delivery of lifecycle surveys to avoid "survey fatigue." • Insight Delivery: Transform survey results into narratives that help P&C leaders understand the effectiveness of their employee experience programs.
Required Skills and Education: • Education: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a research‑or analytics‑focused field such as Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline. and at least 8 years of experience. • Experience: 5+ years in people analytics or HR consulting, with a specific focus on employee engagement or experience. • Technical Expertise: Advanced administration skills in Qualtrics (survey design, distribution, and reporting) and experience applying governed and privacy data principles. • Consulting Skills: Ability to partner with COE leaders to define success metrics for non-tangible experiences. • Communication: Strong ability to present employee experience & listening data in a way that is empathetic yet actionable. • Mindset: Employee-centric; passionate about improving the workplace through data-driven advocacy.
Preferred Skills and Education: • Education: Masters degree, preferably in a research- or analytics-focused field such as Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline, and at least 6 years of experience. • Technical Expertise: PowerBI a plus.
