Job Description The Supply Chain Planner (SCP) is the focal point for all supply chain planning activities. The planner supports execution of programs and coordination of new program / product launches. SCP monitors key performance indicators, analyzes performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of the supply chain.

The Supply Chain Planner optimizes how supply chain management interfaces with manufacturing systems. SCP will plan, prepare, issue and control material requirements in conjunction with the production schedule. The Planner will support risk management activities impacting the value chain working with cross-functional teams. The planner ensures that project deliverables are completed on time to contract/internal delivery commitments. SCP will utilize system and process tools to achieve program / functional goals.

As a Development Supply Chain Planner, this position requires that the individual possesses a strong understanding of Engineering, Procurement, and Planning responsibilities. The individual must be a problem solver, capable of troubleshooting process gaps and compressed schedules to ensure success for the program. This position relies on experience and judgment to organize, plan, and achieve program and department objectives; through collaborative teamwork and independent initiative.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities: Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's Degree and 2 years’ work experience or equivalent experience Planning experience in a large multifaceted manufacturing environment Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations Significant ERP system experience (Oracle, SAP, Other), inclusive of shop floor control systems Knowledge of electromechanical manufacturing processes Ability to verbally and accurately report project status to program or factory teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point) Ability to analyze and react appropriately to exceptions in MRP, especially around Bills of Material, Material Planning, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders and ECOs Strong sense of urgency and follow-through

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Create presentation materials and give presentations to program leadership teams, production teams, and other internal customers Sales & Operations planning experience / knowledge Inventory / stockroom management knowledge Project Management experience Can obtain a security clearence

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $67406 - $114590

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
