Grovehill Medical Centre aims to provide high quality healthcare services to our patients using innovative thinking, excellent clinical practice and by always striving to continuously improve the patient experience. We currently serve over 5300 patients. Our team consists of 1 partner, 2 salaried GP's and an ANP who are supported by a Practice Nurse, a Physiotherapist, 2 clinical Pharmacists and an admin team. We are a training surgery for GP and pharmacist trainees. We are using Emis Web, Docman 10 and AccuRx. We have regular in-house practice meetings. Our last inspection by the CQC in February 2023 gave us a "Good" rating and we have consistently high QOF achievements. Our friends & family feedback is primarily at the highest level.
Job description Job responsibilities
* To undertake a variety of duties including face to face, telephone and online consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, dealing with queries, paperwork (Docman assigned, BT results) and correspondence by the end of the working day.
* Attending practice meetings/palliative care meetings/health visitor meetings
Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
* GMC registered, able to work in the UK * Docman and Emis proficient
Desirable
* Be a team player. We are a small supportive surgery. Our clinical and admin staff work as one cohesive team to support our patient population. * Be flexible. To be willing to react supportively and spontaneously to surgery needs to ensure that the day-to-day running of the surgery and patient care are seamless. * Be able to cope with the stresses of General Practice. We are committed to high quality patient care in the limited amount of time we have at our disposal.
Experience Essential
Experience working in a Primary Care environment.
