Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Practitioner based at Prestwich Hospital, within Junction 17.
The Day Service is a nurse/practitioner led therapeutic service that aims to support young people aged 12 - 18th birthday, to try to better manage their thoughts and feelings, through the joint exploration of their strengths and needs.
Those young people attending Day Service will attend for a period of 8 weeks where they will have access to education at our on-site Cloughside College. Young People can attend 4 days a week 9am - 3pm, where they are supported by mental health professionals and a support time recovery worker.
Our mission is to work with external services to support young people who are transitioning back into a community setting and back into education. Our service supports young people to be safely managed in the community and avoid a tier 4 admission.
