Job summary
We are looking for highly motivated Anaesthetic Practitioner/Operating Department Practitioner to join our expanding Anaesthetic Team at The Grange University Hospital.
The theatre department provides a 7 day 24 hour service, with the requirement to work weekends, nights and support all theatre departments within ABUHB.
Main duties of the job
The theatre department provides a 7 day 24 hour service, with the requirement to work occasional weekends, nights and support other theatre departments within ABUHB. The department will undertake both emergency and elective procedures, covering General Surgery, ENT, Vascular, Obstetrics, Max Fax, Gynaecology, CEPOD and Trauma.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Education/Qualifications / Training Essential
Registered Nurse (RGN) NMC Registered with recognised anaesthetic qualification or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) HCPC Registered

Degree level qualification
Skills and Attributes Essential
Good written and IT skills Adopts a flexible approach to work and shift patterns Good liaison, negotiating, persuasive, motivational, empathic skills. Able to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate individualised and evidence -based care
