About this role
We are looking for a candidate who:
has a level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare or equivalenthas experience of working with children aged 4-11years oldunderstands the varied needs of children and their familiescan plan and deliver creative high quality play care and opportunitiescan encourage positive behaviour and provide emotional support for childrenprovides equal opportunities for all children creating an inclusive environmentcreates a safe and welcoming environmenthas good communication skills with parents, children and school staffis able to work effectively as part of a teamhas sound judgement, common sense and lots of initiativehas sufficient understanding and use of English to ensure the well-being of the children
Desirable: has first aid, food hygiene or safeguarding certificates
