The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a commitment to making a difference to the lives of young people and work with class teachers to:
Raise the learning and attainment of pupils Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion Manage the behaviour of students whilst they undertake work, ensuring a constructive learning environment Provide support to pupils, individually or in groups, to secure access to the full curriculum Respond to questions and requests for help from students Be highly motivated and enthusiastic Have high expectations of students and what they can achieve Be a committed team player Work as part of a team to support a specific pupil who has cognitive and physical needs Deal with the personal / intimate care / medical needs of a pupil where appropriate in line with the guidance of the local authority (full training will be provided Support the implementation of recommended physiotherapy exercise (training will be provided) We can offer you:-
