This is a highly rewarding, full-time role (27.5 hours per week over 5 days) that offers an ideal chance to make a real difference in students' lives.
You will need a minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths, prior experience working with young people, and the skills to effectively support learning in a classroom setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour varied and crucial role will focus on motivating our students to reach their full potential. You will be:
Providing essential support for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), both within the classroom and in specialised learning bases. Collaborating closely with teachers, adapting your approach to meet diverse pupil needs. Building successful and trusting relationships with students to encourage their social and educational development.Actively contributing to planning and review discussions concerning students with SEND. Assisting students with activities outside the classroom, such as school trips and providing exam support (e.g., as a reader or scribe).
