The ideal candidate will have:
Qualified Teacher Status and a degree in Science or a related subject. Successful experience of teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. A proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning that secures excellent outcomes for students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents and external partners. The ability to motivate, lead and develop a team, fostering collaboration and a shared commitment to excellence. Experience of curriculum planning, assessment and monitoring student progress to drive continued improvement. A commitment to professional development and the willingness to embrace innovation and new challenges. Confidence in the use of technology to support teaching, learning and departmental development.
