Our aim at Heyford Park School is to provide the best possible education for all our students

At Heyford Park School, our mission is to provide the best possible education for all students in a nurturing and inclusive environment. We are proud to be a warm, welcoming all-through school with a strong sense of community. Our staff body is collaborative, supportive, and genuinely enjoy working together.

We are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teacher of Science to join our fantastic department in November 2026. We welcome applications from all Science disciplines. Whether you are an Early Career Teacher looking to start your journey with the support of our excellent ECT programme, or an experienced teacher seeking new challenges, we offer excellent professional development and career growth opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a school at a dynamic point in our journey. Heyford Park School is a rapidly growing school, with increasing pupil numbers and an expanding number of forms of entry. This growth will create exciting opportunities for career progression and leadership at all levels. The school is also benefiting from significant investment, with two major building projects due to begin, representing over £15 million of capital investment and transforming the learning environment for our community. As part of the EPA trust, our secondary phase is closely supported by Bartholomew School, rated Outstanding in 2024.

Science is a thriving subject at Heyford Park, with high student engagement across all Key Stages. Over half of our students opt for Separate Science at GCSE, reflecting its popularity and success. Our science team is small but strong, with a deep sense of collaboration that extends across the whole school.

Located in the village of Upper Heyford, Heyford Park is easily accessible from Bicester, Banbury, and Oxford, serving the surrounding rural communities.
