We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and caring individual to join our Post-16 team as a Student Services, Welfare and Administration Officer. This is a key role at the heart of the college, providing vital support that enables students to thrive both academically and personally. As a visible and trusted presence within Student Services, you will help promote excellent attendance, support student wellbeing and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the college.

About the Role
As a first point of contact for students, you will provide high-quality support across attendance, welfare and student services. Key responsibilities include:
Promoting excellent attendance and punctuality across the college.Monitoring attendance, identifying concerns and working with students, parents/carers and staff to improve outcomes.Providing front-of-house support through the Student Services office.Supporting student welfare, first aid and medical needs.Maintaining accurate student records and administrative systems.Working closely with safeguarding, SEND and pastoral colleagues to provide coordinated support for students.The successful candidate will have:
Experience of working with young people in an educational or similar setting.Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.The ability to communicate effectively with students, parents/carers and colleagues.A calm, professional approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.A commitment to promoting student wellbeing, attendance and achievement.
