About this role
This is an exciting opportunity for a specialist who wants to take Geography beyond the basics, helping students develop a deep understanding of the world around them through the exploration of physical and human geography, environmental issues, sustainability, global development, and the challenges facing our changing planet. You will have the opportunity to design and deliver an engaging, innovative curriculum that equips students with essential geographical knowledge and skills, encourages critical thinking, and fosters curiosity about the world.
We are looking for someone who can champion high-quality teaching and learning across the department, making effective use of fieldwork, enquiry-based learning, and digital technologies to bring geographical concepts to life. You will support colleagues in delivering an inspiring curriculum and encourage students to become informed, responsible global citizens.
This role is perfect for an experienced teacher looking to step into leadership or an existing leader seeking a new challenge in an ambitious school, with a brand-new school building and state-of-the-art facilities coming soon. You will be supported by a strong, collaborative team both within the school and across the Trust, enabling you to make a lasting impact on the educational experiences and outcomes of our students.
If you are ready to make a real impact, we would love to hear from you.
