About the Role

Are you a versatile, dynamic, and highly adaptable educator looking for a diverse teaching role without the demands of full-time class responsibility?

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding PPA and Cover Teacher to work across our vibrant school from Wednesday to Friday. This is an exciting, non-class-based role where no two days are the same. You will provide high-quality teaching release for staff commitments (such as PPA, leadership time, and staff training) as well as covering short-term sickness absences.

Key Responsibilities

Cross-School Teaching: Deliver engaging, high-impact lessons across all mainstream phases, seamlessly moving from Early Years (Nursery/Reception) right through to Key Stage 2 (Year 6).Maintain Continuity: Follow existing planning or adapt quickly to ensure pupils maintain strong learning momentum during their regular teacher's absence.Alternative Provision Context: Confidently provide cover support within our specialised on-site Alternative Provision (which houses a dedicated SEMH class and a Complex SEND class) where you will work alongside our specialist staff to support children's learning and wellbeing (you will not be expected to lead or plan the core teaching within these units).Positive Behaviour Management: Apply our school behaviour policy consistently, fostering an inclusive, welcoming, and safe learning environment rooted in our community values. The ideal candidate will be a highly confident teacher who possesses:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).Mission Alignment: A commitment to supporting and upholding the Catholic ethos, values, and mission of our Academy and Trust.Broad Curriculum Confidence: Documented success teaching across both EYFS and the primary National Curriculum spectrum.Adaptability: Confidence working alongside specialist teams to support pupils with a range of needs from a wide demographic.Positive Behaviour Strategies: Excellent classroom management skills, inclusive practice and the ability to build positive relationships with all pupils.Great Communication: The ability to liaise effectively with class teachers, support staff, and phase leaders to ensure continuity for pupils.
