About this role
We are seeking to appoint a qualified, enthusiastic, and resilient Learning Support Assistant. Please note that this role is attached to the top-up funding for a specific pupil at the school and as such, if the child should leave the school or the funding should cease, the post would end.
Days and hours to be discussed. Minimum of 20 hours at present.
The successful candidate will:
Have previous experience of working with children in an educational setting ideally with pupils with SEN needs.Be enthusiastic, highly motivated and able to use own initiative.Have a good standard of general education evidenced by three or more GCSE’s at grade C/4 or above, including English and maths, as well a minimum of a level 2 certificate in supporting teaching and learning. Have good interpersonal skills with both adults and children. Be physically fit and willing to be trained in Team Teach.
