Lecturer in DClinPsy (Education and Scholarship) This 0.9 FTE part-time post is immediately available on a fixed-term basis to cover a maternity until 24 September 2027.

The Role The post of Lecturer to support the delivery of the DClinPsy Programme.
The post will include:
Supporting and designing the delivery of research teaching and training, across qualitative and quantitative methods, and systematic literature reviews.
Teaching, supervising and examining in both quantitative and qualitative research methods. The role includes contributing to teaching and supervision on related postgraduate programmes in the Clinical Portfolio.
A contribution to the development and implementation of innovative teaching practices, both in person and virtual, across the Faculty.
Attending regular team meetings and collaborating with other Research Team members and colleagues external to the University, to ensure a high-quality, research training related to Forensic Psychology.
The postholder(s) will be expected to participate in the full range of research-support activities provided on the programme. This includes providing teaching sessions and one-to-one supervision of DClinPsy Trainees to produce small-scale Quality Improvement Studies, Systematic Literature Reviews and Empirical studies that comprise their PGR Doctoral thesis.
About you For a Lecturer post you will:
Possess sufficient breadth or depth of specialist and core knowledge in the discipline, demonstrated by a PhD, Professional Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical Psychology to develop teaching programmes, and teach and support learning. Use a range of delivery techniques to enthuse and engage students. Participate in and develop external networks, for example, to contribute to student recruitment, secure student placements, facilitate outreach work, generate income, obtain consultancy projects, or build relationships for future activities. Will have evidence of excellent teaching identified by peer review and have made an impact at discipline programme level beyond their own teaching.
