About this role
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant SENDCo to join our supportive and dedicated Additional Learning Support Team here at Heart of Yorkshire Education Group. As an Assistant SENDCo you will co-ordinate specialist support across our students who have special educational needs and/or disabilities.
This role is primarily an administration, coordination and compliance-focused position that supports the efficient delivery of SEND provision across the Group while contributing directly to positive outcomes for students
As an Assistant SENDCo your duties will include:
To liaise with students and families regarding learning support, process student requests for additional support. To support SENDCo with keeping records up to date To contribute to the provision of an outstanding Additional Learning Support service for students with additional support needs.
As an Assistant SENDCo, you should:
Hold a Relevant Level 3 qualification Hold GCSE English and Maths at grade A*- C/ 9-4 as a minimum Have experience of working with learning difficulties and/or disabilities
