Job Summary The Senior Lead Regulatory Reporting Analyst is responsible for the preparation, analysis, and submission of assigned FR Y-14M/Q regulatory reports, while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal governance standards. This role serves as a subject matter expert, providing technical leadership, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting a strong risk and control environment. The Senior Lead Analyst partners with business lines, finance, risk, data governance, and technology teams to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of regulatory reporting. Essential Job Functions Regulatory Reporting
• Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned regulatory reports, schedules, and reporting requirements. • Interpret new and revised regulatory requirements and assess impacts to reporting processes, data, controls, and governance frameworks. • Coordinate reporting activities across multiple stakeholders to ensure successful and timely regulatory submissions. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to analysts and peers.
Risk, Controls, and Governance
• Maintain a strong risk and control environment through effective execution of regulatory reporting controls and governance activities. • Identify, assess, and escalate reporting risks, process gaps, control deficiencies, and data quality concerns. • Support Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), issue management, control testing, and remediation activities. • Ensure appropriate documentation, evidence retention, and control execution in accordance with internal policies and regulatory expectations. • Support internal audit, regulatory examinations, and compliance reviews.
Data Analysis and Quality Assurance
• Analyze large data sets to validate reported results and investigate variances, trends, and anomalies. • Perform detailed reconciliations, validations, and quality reviews to ensure data integrity and report accuracy. • Develop and enhance reporting metrics, monitoring routines, and analytical procedures.
Process Improvement and Change Management
• Support efforts to implement regulatory reporting changes resulting from new regulations, reporting instructions, and business initiatives. • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation, controls, and data governance practices. • Partner with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and support system enhancements. • Support strategic initiatives related to regulatory reporting transformation, data modernization, and process optimization.
Qualifications Required
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, finance, accounting, risk management, or related discipline. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills. • Advanced proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools.
Preferred
• Experience with Federal Reserve regulatory reporting, including FR Y-14, FR Y-9C, Call Reports, FFIEC, or other banking regulatory reports. • Knowledge of data governance, risk management, and reporting control frameworks. • Experience with regulatory reporting systems, SQL, SAS, Axiom, Power BI, or similar analytical tools.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
