The Deployment Leader will be responsible for leading the successful execution of large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives within the MedTech Supply Chain Digital Transformation Program. This role is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-year deployment programs, ensuring alignment across business, technology, and operational workstreams while driving project execution, governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and organizational readiness.

The Deployment Leader serves as a key member of the Program Leadership Team and partners closely with Business Leads, Technology Leads, Value Stream Leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure program objectives are achieved. This role provides strategic leadership, drives deployment excellence, manages interdependencies across initiatives, and ensures successful transition to steady-state operations. The ideal candidate combines strong program management capabilities with change leadership, stakeholder engagement, and large-scale transformation experience. Based on the duties provided for the Deployment Leader role supporting the MedTech Supply Chain Digital Transformation Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution and delivery of large-scale business and technology transformation deployments, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business objectives.

• Establish and oversee project governance, project planning, risk management, resource management, communications, solution readiness, business readiness, and operational transition activities.

• Own and lead all Project Management Office (PMO) activities, including governance cadence, reporting, issue management, risk management, and performance tracking.

• Ensure Final Project Objectives (FPOs) and deployment milestones are achieved while maintaining compliance with established delivery standards.

• Drive day-to-day execution across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment, accountability, and successful delivery of program objectives.

• Partner with Business Leads, Technology Leads, Value Stream Leaders, and Portfolio Management teams to manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and resolve complex issues.

• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and successful program outcomes.

• Serve as an active member of the Program Leadership Team, providing strategic direction, thought leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making support.

• Ensure deployment methodologies, best practices, Agile principles, and stage-gate governance processes are consistently applied throughout the program lifecycle.

• Monitor program health through key performance indicators, project metrics, and executive reporting.

• Lead risk identification, mitigation planning, issue resolution, and escalation processes to maintain project success.

• Develop and deliver executive-level communications, presentations, and program updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to support organizational readiness, solution adoption, and business transformation efforts.

• Support transition planning and handoff to operational teams to ensure sustainable post-deployment performance.

• Champion continuous improvement, operational excellence, and organizational change management throughout the transformation journey.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, Operations, or a related discipline.

• 6-8 years of experience leading complex projects, transformation programs, ERP implementations, supply chain initiatives, or large-scale business process deployments.

• Proven experience managing cross-functional programs utilizing formal project management methodologies.

• Strong knowledge of project governance, PMO management, risk management, resource planning, and project execution.

• Experience leading business transformation, process improvement, or digital transformation initiatives.

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills within matrixed organizations.

• Experience managing program interdependencies, risks, issues, and escalation processes.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams through organizational change and business process transformation.

• Strong verbal, written, presentation, and executive communication skills.

• Experience developing and presenting strategic updates to senior leaders and executive stakeholders.

• Knowledge of Agile project management principles and stage-gate delivery methodologies.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or related discipline).

• PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent project management certification.

• Experience supporting ERP transformation programs such as SAP, Transcend, or similar enterprise platforms.

• Experience within Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or other regulated industries.

• Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, or Commercial Operations experience.

• Demonstrated success leading large-scale global deployments across multiple business functions and geographies.

• Experience in organizational change management and business readiness planning.

• Knowledge of portfolio management, value stream management, and digital supply chain capabilities.

• Experience working within highly matrixed global organizations.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or Continuous Improvement certification.
