Crozier Fine Arts is seeking a motivated Elevator Operator to join our Chelsea, NY Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring safety and integrity of all art and artifacts moved within the Chelsea location while providing premium, discrete customer service experience to our customers.
What You’ll Do In this role, you will:
• Fulfilling customer requests within the Chelsea Facility - elevator rides to/from viewing rooms, distribution of materials (i.e. equipment, hand tools, materials), providing requested deliveries to customers within the space, problem solving
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the business/industry through the assistance and apprenticeship with the art handling team from processes to industry standards
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, as well as exercise the strictest discretion with client and company information at all times
What You’ll Bring The ideal candidate will have:
• Knowledge and passion for all things art related, including the latest industry advancements
• Proven ability in effective and efficient communication to clients and coworkers, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving under pressure.
• Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must be able to work well under pressure lifting, moving, heavy objects - bending, kneeling, crouching, standing for extended periods
• Must be able to lift a min. of 50 lbs unassisted.

• Pay: Starting at $24.00/hr (**Negotiations Depending on Experience), Weekly Direct Deposit
• Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM

Reasonably expected salary range: $48,200.00 - $60,300.00 Please note that an employee's starting salary may vary based on a variety of factors. Where State, Municipal, Provincial, Territorial or other legal minimum wages exceed the federal minimum wage, employees are entitled to the higher rate.
