Salary range (but not limited to): 80,700 - 98,700 Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance): 10% As part of our commitment to Win As A Team, we share our success with employees through our annual bonus plan and Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) – with Intact matching 50% of your net shares.

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
We’re looking for a Security Analyst II to join our growing team!
What you'll do here:
• Support the security incident response team by contributing to the resolution of computer security incidents. • Act as an expert in security incident response within the security monitoring team and on other security initiatives and projects. • Analyze security alerts from various security monitoring tools including the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM). • Perform triage, assess the scope of threats and escalate as necessary. • Develop and analyze dashboards and reports to identify potential threats and suspicious/anomalous activity. • Provide Tier 2 & Tier 3 support as needed. • Stay up to date with information security newsfeeds, techniques, and trends. • Identify, assess and recommend information security solutions that meet the business and technological needs by limiting impacts on users. • Participate in security projects or initiatives with the units involved. • Participate in the evolution of the strategies, bases, frameworks, objectives and directions of IT security operations. • Act as the web filtering platform operator alongside the platform SME. • Keep systems up to date and provide a high level of service. • Ensure systems availability. • Support the business units in their daily use of technologies. • Support other teams with the deployment and update of business solutions. • Ensure the optimal level of security is provided by the platforms. • Handle and resolve security incidents. • Participate in creating and maintaining the documentation related to your activities. • Raise awareness about the importance of security within the company. • Be willing to learn new technologies. • Participate in designing dashboards with the help of our programmer.
What you bring to the table:
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or any combination of equivalent education and experience • Minimum of five years in IT, web development or information security • Relevant professional experience in information technology • Experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT), preferably in security monitoring and security incident response • Desktop environment knowledge (a must) • Ticketing tool aware (a must) • Web filtering – (Websense/Forcepoint) (a plus) • Remote access of server • Technical writing (a must) • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country. • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada. #LI-Hybrid Il s'agit d'un nouveau rôle au sein de notre équipe en pleine croissance | This role is a new member of our growing team.
