About this role

What You'll Do:

The Senior Account Director is an experienced client lead within the Generation in-house agency, accountable for managing complex, multi-brand campaign portfolios and building deep, trusted relationships with senior brand stakeholders. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy within defined parameters, leading integrated campaign delivery from brief to completion and guiding less experienced members of the account management team.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Leadership: Takes the lead on end-to-end delivery of major integrated campaigns across multiple channels and brand teams. Accountable for embedding client KPIs into the creative process from brief stage and ensuring delivery consistently meets commercial objectives.

Stakeholder Relationship Management: Builds and sustains trusted relationships with brand leads and marketing stakeholders. Acts as the primary day-to-day point of contact for senior clients, developing a thorough understanding of their priorities and translating these into clear direction for the agency team.

Brief Ownership: Takes full accountability for the quality of briefs entering the agency. Challenges briefs that lack clarity or commercial grounding before they reach the creative team, ensuring every project begins with a well-defined objective and a clear creative direction.

Resource and Scope Management: Balances client demand against available creative capacity, managing scope and expectations proactively. Identifies resourcing risks early and works with the account management lead to address them before they affect delivery.

Commercial Awareness: Maintains a clear view of budget health across assigned accounts. Flags variances and risks in a timely manner, and demonstrates an understanding of how delivery decisions affect the commercial performance of the agency.

Team: Provides day-to-day guidance and feedback to AM’s working on their accounts. Shares knowledge, reviews work and supports the development of less experienced team members, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement within the function.

Integrated Delivery: Works collaboratively across creative, strategy, production and project management to ensure all workstreams are aligned and moving at pace. Keeps all parties informed and ensures nothing is lost in handover between disciplines.

Role Scope and Impact:
