About this role

Your mission <p><strong>Strategic &amp; Clinical Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Working closely with the Occupational Health Clinical and Administration Teams at Blackwell Associates.</p></li><li><p>Conduct health surveillance and screening assessments, including but not limited to audiometry, spirometry, skin and Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) monitoring.</p></li><li><p>Support the screening of pre-employment health related information, and carry out assessments, including baseline health surveillance assessments for new recruits where required.</p></li><li><p>Safety critical medicals</p></li><li><p>Night worker health assessments</p></li><li><p>Liaise with the Occupational Health Team, including onward referrals to an Occupational Health Physician where indicated.</p></li><li><p>Assist with occupational flu vaccination programme.</p></li><li><p>Provides assistance to the client in all incident investigation and statutory reporting to government and insurance bodies and professions.</p></li><li><p>Assists with the Health Promotion and Employee Wellbeing Programme.</p></li><li><p>Responsibility for keeping up to date on all relevant legislative and statutory changes as it pertains to the health and safety of client’s employees.</p></li><li><p>Conducts Pre Employment Health Screening</p></li><li><p>Conducts appropriate health surveillance examinations, interprets results and provides regular trending analysis to management.</p></li><li><p>Maintains medical information and records in a confidential manner.</p></li><li><p>Performs pregnancy risk assessments</p></li></ul><p><strong>Administrative Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Maintain accurate records for audits and legal compliance.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate strong IT and administrative competence, handling scheduling, documentation, and occupational health reporting efficiently.</p></li><li><p>Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice, ensuring sensitive health information is handled with discretion and professionalism.</p></li><li><p>Experience in risk assessment, applying clinical knowledge to evaluate workplace health risks and support proactive safety initiatives.</p></li></ul> Your profile <ul><li><p>Registered Nurse with a valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).</p></li><li><p>Degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing or equivalent).</p></li><li><p>Post-registration qualification in Occupational Health Nursing (e.g., Postgraduate Diploma, Degree, or MSc in Occupational Health) or willingness to undertake relevant training.</p></li><li><p>Minimum 1–2 years post-registration clinical nursing experience.</p></li><li><p>Previous experience in occupational health, health screening, employee wellbeing, or case management is desirable.</p></li><li><p>Experience conducting health assessments, vaccinations, and health surveillance is advantageous.</p></li></ul>
