Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a Pharmacy Team Administrator to join our expanding pharmacy team.

This is a varied role with the successful applicant needing to work independently and within the wider pharmacy team. As a Pharmacy Team Administrator, you will be required to work alongside the team to provide PA support to the Chief Pharmacist and admin support to the wider pharmacy team. You will be responsible for maintaining electronic databases, receiving and disseminating information, dealing with telephone and email enquires coming into the department, and escalating any issues appropriately.

Main duties of the job

Pharmacy Team Administrator based at Bodmin Community Hospital with support to other peripheral hospitals.

Responsible for providing a comprehensive administrative function to the Pharmacy Team.

Assisting with the provision of FP10 prescription pads to the county depending upon working base.

Maintaining electronic databases.

Dealing with telephone and email enquires coming into the department, and escalating any issues appropriately.

To provide admin support to the pharmacy team including 7 day service provision on a rolling rota and when required.

Education/Qualifications and Relevant Experience Essential

5 GCSE passes including English and Maths RSA III typing/word processing or equivalent Evidence of self-development or training in admin or office practices Previous team administration experience Previous experience of working within a busy office environment Experience of using Microsoft Excel

Desirable

NVQ Level III in Business Administration Health and Safety Training Lone Working Procedures

Skills and Aptitude Essential

Able to work in a team and be aware of team development and efficient office working Able to manage and prioritise incoming and outgoing work, correspondence and emails Able to develop and apply creative solutions to problems Good interpersonal communication skills
