Department: IOC Television and Marketing Services Location: Lausanne, Switzerland Contract Type: Internship (12 months) Activity Level: 100% Apply before: 30th September 2026 The International Olympic Committee is the guardian of the Olympic Games and the leader of the Olympic Movement. A truly global organisation, it acts as a catalyst for collaboration between all Olympic stakeholders, including the athletes, the National Olympic Committees, the International Federations, Organising Committees for the Olympic Games, the Worldwide Olympic Partners and Olympic broadcast partners. It also collaborates with public and private authorities including the United Nations and other international organisations. Your responsibilities: The Media Strategy & Business Intelligence Unit provides timely strategic insights and advisory support to the Media Rights & Content Partnership team, as well as to transversal commercial projects across IOC TMS. Its work supports the sales, management and commercial development of broadcast media rights for the Olympic Games, the Youth Olympic Games and the Olympic Q-Series, while also building insights for content and digital partnerships with streaming and digital platforms. As part of the Media Strategy & Business Intelligence Unit, you will: Support the preparation of timely insights and contribute to sales and partnership processes, including forecasting, commercial and market analysis, market sensing and financial projections. Assist preparation and implementation of critical projects including anti-piracy, digital integration of MRHs across IOC digital platforms, and other strategic & transversal projects across TMS Compile intelligence on targeted territories, including media landscapes, potential broadcasters, emerging trends and commercial opportunities. Prepare presentation materials for meetings with potential media-rights, content and digital partners. Contribute to Olympic Games preparation by working with the Media Rights & Content Partnership team to identify opportunities to enhance, manage and further commercialise existing and upcoming partnerships. Coordinate administrative support, including SharePoint project management and weekly meeting preparation. Contribute to audience insights, internal reporting and external presentation materials. Minimum Qualifications: University or business school (or related field) student or graduate. English fluency both spoken and written; additional language an asset. Interest to work in a commercial environment. Understanding or work experience in the sports media industry or sport’s governing body. Knowledge and affinity with media landscape an asset. Able to compile data and feature key information in presentable formats. Excellent command of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI and other corporate tools.
