More about OUP Advancing Knowledge and Learning OUP's Higher Ed Marketing team is looking for a Portfolio Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategy across a portfolio of higher education disciplines, driving revenue growth, customer engagement, and market impact. In this role, you'll shape and execute portfolio marketing plans, align closely with Sales, Product, and Editorial teams, and lead a team of marketers to deliver measurable results. You'll be responsible for go-to-market strategies, champion customer needs, and build engaged academic communities across key disciplines and franchises. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver portfolio marketing strategies that support revenue growth, customer engagement, and market impact. Create annual marketing plans, define KPIs, and determine the optimal mix of demand generation, sales enablement, community engagement, and author marketing activities. Oversee marketing initiatives and account analysis for North American schools and accounts without dedicated sales coverage, supporting revenue growth and market penetration. Monitor campaign performance, evaluate ROI, and continuously optimize future activity based on insights and results. Partner closely with Sales teams to deliver integrated, customer-focused campaigns and sales enablement initiatives. Represent customer and user needs within product and portfolio strategy discussions, helping shape future product development. Develop content strategies that enhance the customer journey across web and digital channels. Lead, coach, and develop a team of marketing professionals, creating a high-performance culture. Candidates should be able to demonstrate: Strong commercial focus, strategic thinking, customer focus, and strong execution to deliver measurable business results. Facility working across functions, using data and insight to shape decisions, and adapting your approach to meet changing business and market needs. Creative problem-solving skills.
