About this role
The Associate, PR & Communications role supports the Genesis Motor North America PR & Communications team by providing administrative, operational, and project coordination support across a variety of business functions. Reporting to the Senior Group Manager, this position plays an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the department while assisting with product launches, media relations activities, vendor management, budgeting, and special projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. This individual will have the opportunity to work closely with multiple stakeholders across the business and gain exposure to a wide range of public relations and communications initiatives that support one of the fastest-growing brands in the automotive industry. Key Responsibilities: Support PR and communications initiatives, including vehicle launches, product communications, corporate communications, and lifestyle PR activities. Coordinate meetings, maintain calendars, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting notes and action items. Assist with the creation of presentations, reports, and other departmental communications. Support vendor management activities and help track project deliverables and timelines. Serve as a key contact for budget administration, including purchase requests, scopes of work, invoice processing, and expense tracking. Contribute to department projects and ensure operational processes are executed efficiently. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary education, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational, project management, and time management abilities. Proven attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Automotive industry experience is preferred but not required.
