Checkout Operator Part-Time (New World Ashburton) We’re looking for a positive, reliable, and customer focused Checkout Operator to join our team. If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a busy environment, and take pride in providing great service, this could be the perfect role for you. As a Checkout Operator, you’ll be the last point of contact for our customers. Your warm, friendly service helps create a welcoming shopping experience and keeps our front end running smoothly. You’ll process transactions accurately, assist with customer queries, and help maintain a clean, safe, and organised checkout area. What We’re Looking For: A passion for delivering outstanding customer service A positive attitude and the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully Strong attention to detail and accuracy Reliability, integrity, and a proactive approach to daily tasks Ability to stay calm and friendly under pressure Good time management and the ability to work efficiently A team‑focused mindset that contributes to a supportive, safe work environment Previous experience with cash handling & POS preferred, but not essential Flexibility to work additional hours when required Days & Hours of Work: Monday: 11:00am – 7:30pm Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm Friday: 9:30am – 6:00pm What’s in it for You?
