Requisition ID: 78453 Description We are looking for a Winter/Spring Co-Op (January to June) to join us in our Irvine, California location. This individual will work closely with other team members within the supply chain organization. Responsibilities In particuarly, this person will be exposed to below few areas: Automation: Build small, reliable automations on live planning/inventory/exception processes. You will take those repeatable steps and turn them into dependable tools — scheduled queries, Python jobs, or workflows with tools like Knime that will refresh automatically. Optimization: Prototype optimization or rules-based decision support solutions and compare it to the current heuristic, with a clear metric. You will be tasked using solvers, e.g., HiGHs, to model and solve the problems as needed. Agentic AI: Explore agent-assisted workflows (retrieval, summarization, recommended actions) against well-defined specifications and features, subject to human review and approval. Required Experience and Skills Must be a student, enrolled in a university making forward progress towards a MS/Ph.D. degree, preferably majoring in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or Analytics. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into high level analysis and supply planning. Strong Python (pandas/scripting), SQL with completed analytical or software project is preferred. Being able to explain technical work to people is strongly preferred. Experience of building AI agents for developing practical applications is strongly desired and with good understanding or familiarity with LLM. Communicates effectively and proactively, engaging stakeholders across the organization as needed. Desired Experience and Skills Domain knowledge of supply chain is a plus but not required. Statistical/mathematical knowledge and algorithmic modeling capabilities and with knowledge of optimization techniques a plus. Experience with Business Intelligence Software (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView) a plus. The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
