Job Overview Executes defined sourcing and procurement activities while contributing to cost optimization, supplier performance improvement, and risk mitigation initiatives. Applies data-driven analysis to support sourcing decisions and category strategies. Job Requirements Tasks Summary & Responsibilities  Lead APAC material productivity initiatives and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver commercial and technical savings.  Prepare and execute RFQs in alignment with the preferred supplier strategy; conduct bid analysis, source selection, new-business awards, and negotiations for raw materials, components, and tooling.  Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, including supplier optimization, localization, dual sourcing, risk mitigation, and grow/fix/exit actions.  Manage supplier performance against cost, quality, delivery, service, and compliance targets; lead quarterly business reviews and corrective-action follow-up as required.  Partner with Engineering, Quality, and NPI teams to identify potential suppliers, develop new sources, support qualifications, and ensure sourcing readiness for new projects.  Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and supplier agreements while ensuring compliance with applicable sourcing policies and approval requirements.  Ensure suppliers comply with applicable TE requirements, including RoHS, REACH, supplier tools usage, and other legal or regulatory obligations.  Support plant operational certifications and internal /external audits, with particular focus on procurement and supplier-management requirements.  Maintain accurate purchasing data, including info records and source lists including price, minimum order quantity, and lead time. 3 Requirements for a typical Job Holder / Applicant Bachelor’s degree or above; a major in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.  5–10 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, procurement, or supplier management within a manufacturing environment.  Hands-on sourcing and supplier-management experience in raw cable commodities is required; experience with cable assembly products is an advantage, and exposure to relay products is preferred.  Demonstrated experience in RFQ execution, commercial negotiation, cost analysis, supplier development, cost down project driving and cross-functional project delivery. Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cost-analysis capabilities, with the ability to translate data into sourcing decisions.  Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, and negotiation skills.  Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and measurable results.  Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a matrix organization with multicultural and cross-functional teams.  Skills & Knowledge of supplier performance management, sourcing risk mitigation, and contract fundamentals.  Knowledge of the regional and global supplier base for relevant commodities.  Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.  Fluent spoken and written English.
