Summary The Coordinator, Business Operations is a communications-driven role that also supports the daily administrative and financial functions of the ENT department. This position is ideal for a candidate with a background in writing, content creation, or marketing who is ready to bring creativity and polish to the department's website, social media presence, newsletters, and alumni and donor communications. Beyond communications, the role also involves physician support and administrative work, including coordinating personnel transactions, education support , financial reconciliation, and faculty appointments, offering the right candidate the chance to grow their administrative and operational skill set. This is a great opportunity for a motivated self-starter with strong writing and interpersonal skills to make a visible impact, shaping how the department is perceived by patients, faculty, alumni, and the broader community while also gaining hands-on experience in healthcare administration. This position may offer the flexbility of a hybrid work arrangement at a later date. Job Duties Prepares and processes purchasing orders. Manages domestic and international travel in the travel management system (Concur). Composes formal and informal correspondence including, but not limited to, creating and formatting presentations. Calendar scheduling and maintenance. Assists with timekeeping. Submits expenses for reimbursement. Inspectsand troubleshoot shared department equipment. Facilitate service calls as needed. Provides additional support to faculty members as needed. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Two years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience writing and creating content for social media, newsletters for internal and external communications. Experience using Canva. Work Authorization Requirement: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
