The role involves conducting advanced assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and managing complex pelvic health cases Autonomous clinical practice is required while ensuring effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver holistic patient care. Responsibilities include service development, education, and research, contributing to the advancement of pelvic health services. Supervision and mentoring of junior staff are integral to the role, ensuring that clinical practice adheres to evidence-based guidelines and professional standards. Key outcomes include: • Delivery of high-quality pelvic health physiotherapy care • Leadership in service development and best practices • Compliance with clinical governance and regulatory requirements • Support for education and training initiatives for staff and patients KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Provide advanced assessment and evidence-based treatment for male and female pelvic health conditions, developing individualised care plans and monitoring patient outcomes. Support the management and development of pelvic health services, including clinical guidance, workforce planning and service improvement. Contribute to staff education, training, clinical audits and the development of patient education and self-management resources. Collaborate with consultants, nurses and allied health professionals through multidisciplinary care and appropriate patient referrals. Maintain high standards of clinical governance, documentation, quality, safety and compliance with professional and regulatory requirements. REQUIRED EDUCATION Education Essential Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent. Relevant POGP pelvic health training/courses. Desired Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Relevant mandatory clinical training, including Moving and Handling. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Experience Essential Minimum 4 years’ specialist experience in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. Desired 6 years’ post-graduate physiotherapy experience. Experience managing a broad range of pelvic health conditions. Musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy experience. REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Antenatal and postnatal management Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and related terminology Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills Insurance claim procedures Healthcare insurance rules Knowledge of the UAE Healthcare industry including relevant regulatory requirements related to insurance Ability to lead collaboration with clinicians, hospital management teams, external partners, and regulators Demonstrates the ability to design programs in accordance with agreed standards All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given to the designated groups in accordance with the United Arab Emirates Emiratization Program.
