Closing date: 26/09/2026 Number of positions: 1 Recruiter name: Elgera Guadalquiver Reference number: 73588 Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital | Abu Dhabi | United Arab Emirates MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB To lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of clinical excellence, operational efficiency, patient experience and workforce engagement whilst ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality emergency care KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS To provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team To ensure evidence based patient care practices are followed as per clinical standards To ensure positive patient experiences by developing employees and creating an environment that enables team engagement To manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources in a cost efficient and effective manner to enhance safe patient care To monitor and manage compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards to ensure continuous quality improvement REQUIRED EDUCATION Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Essential: Knowledge of trauma care pathways, emergency response protocols and multidisciplinary trauma team coordination Desired: Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field Desired: Trauma-related certification (e.g., TNCC, ATCN, or equivalent) and experience supporting trauma program development or quality improvement initiatives REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Essential: At least 3-5 years’ senior-level accident & emergency nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital Desired: Previous experience in a designated Trauma Centre or Emergency Department managing major trauma cases Desired: 5-10 years senior-level experience in emergency nursing REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Demonstrate the ability to implement all five (5) stages of the Scientific Nursing Process (assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation) Presentation Skills UAE Labour Law Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications Cost management principles Demonstrate Nursing functional competence (Nursing practice) Demonstrate the ability to manage meetings effectively Quality management and governance standards and best practice Risk management principles, systems and best practice Skilled in the demonstration and assessment of all relevant clinical procedures Stock control principles and management UAE healthcare regulatory framework and related requirements Workforce planning and scheduling All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given to the designated groups in accordance with the United Arab Emirates Emiratization Program.
