Operations Associate Key Tasks and Responsibilities Deliver safe, on-time, high-quality supply while driving site safety, quality, TIP (Total Individual Performance), TOP (Total Overall Performance), and cost metrics. Organize and execute research protocols and operational plans to support daily site priorities. Support the implementation of new tools and technologies that improve research design, operations, and breeding outcomes. Operate research equipment, capture notes and data in internal systems, and adhere to stewardship, safety, and SOP requirements. Execute daily site priorities independently and as part of a team. Train team members and seasonal staff on SOPs, safety procedures, and digital tools. Build influence through motivation, recognition, and leadership, including oversight and development of small teams. Ensure visibility and timely resolution of production pipeline challenges. Partner with site leadership to develop future-state plans and provide updates on milestones and deliverables. Support community outreach initiatives that foster positive local relationships. Provide agricultural technical expertise and identify opportunities for improved ways of working. Apply data analytics and project management skills to support decision-making and operational efficiencies. Deliver consistent performance while developing proficiency in assigned responsibilities. Work effectively within a supervised environment while building autonomy in task execution and career development. Balance business objectives with professional development efforts. WHO YOU ARE Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Valid Driver’s License. To be eligible to drive a company vehicle, the candidate’s driving record must meet company guidelines. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review will be conducted as part of the pre-employment screening process. Communicates accurately, clearly, and with an appropriate level of detail; Demonstrates timely communication and responsiveness, involving appropriate stakeholders in discussions and decision-making processes.Seeks clarity and alignment on objectives and priorities; Results-oriented with the ability to make effective decisions after evaluating various options and considering their impact on individuals and groups; Demonstrated success in fostering a site culture focused on environmental stewardship, SSHE (Safety, Security, Health, and Environment), regulatory compliance, and quality performance. Preferred Bachelor’s degree; Preferred degree disciplines include: Agriculture Supply Chain Management Manufacturing Business Engineering With a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 2 years of related experience in agriculture, supply chain, or manufacturing; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years of related experience in agriculture, supply chain, or manufacturing. Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $54,240.00 - $81,360.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
