We are seeking a Director, Business Readiness & Process Excellence to play a critical leadership role in driving large-scale business transformation, operational improvement, and enterprise process standardization across our organization. This highly visible leader will partner with senior leaders across Finance, Operations, Commercial, Procurement, Human Resources, Technology, and Shared Services to prepare people, processes, and data for future growth and operational excellence. The role will help establish more efficient ways of working, improve business processes, strengthen data quality and governance, and support key transformation initiatives that enhance business performance. What You'll Do Lead Business Transformation Readiness Lead readiness efforts that prepare teams, processes, and business operations for major organizational initiatives and technology-enabled change. Develop and execute comprehensive readiness plans covering process design, data preparation, governance, training, adoption, and operational stabilization. Partner with business and functional leaders to align priorities, manage dependencies, and ensure successful execution. Establish metrics, reporting, and accountability measures that provide visibility into progress and outcomes. Help guide deployment preparation, transition activities, and post-implementation support while minimizing disruption to day-to-day operations. Drive Process Excellence and Standardization Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve critical business processes. Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state processes, ownership, controls, and best practices. Develop practical process documentation, operating procedures, and governance frameworks that promote consistency and efficiency. Translate strategic objectives into actionable improvement plans that enhance operational performance. Build sustainable continuous improvement capabilities that support long-term business success. Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives Provide leadership and oversight for process improvement programs and operational excellence initiatives. Drive implementation and adoption of approved business process enhancements across multiple functions. Monitor progress, identify risks, remove barriers, and help teams achieve key objectives. Ensure improvements become embedded in daily operations through clear ownership, performance measures, and ongoing review processes. Share lessons learned and best practices across the organization. Lead Data Readiness and Governance Develop and execute strategies that improve the quality, consistency, and reliability of business data. Partner with business leaders to establish strong data ownership and governance practices. Lead efforts to identify and address data quality issues, duplicate records, inconsistencies, and other business risks. Support data validation and business readiness activities associated with operational and technology transformation initiatives. Develop dashboards and scorecards that provide visibility into data quality and organizational readiness. Promote sustainable data management practices through documented controls, accountability, and continuous monitoring. Champion Change and Adoption Partner with leaders to assess organizational impacts and develop practical change management strategies. Coordinate communication, stakeholder engagement, leadership alignment, and readiness activities. Serve as a trusted advisor between business leaders, operational teams, and technology stakeholders. Help build confidence and commitment as teams adopt new processes, systems, and ways of working. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and organizational adaptability. What You Bring Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive experience in business transformation, operational excellence, process improvement, enterprise systems, or program leadership. Proven success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple business units, locations, or functions. Strong project and program management capabilities, including executive communication, risk management, governance, and change leadership. Experience leading data quality, governance, validation, or business ownership activities within large-scale transformation environments. Experience helping organizations navigate change and successfully adopt new business processes and technologies. Exceptional communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive results without direct authority. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting enterprise technology implementations or large-scale business transformation programs. Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, Prosci, or similar certifications. Experience in construction materials, manufacturing, industrial operations, distribution, or other operationally complex industries. Experience with process analytics, business intelligence, or performance management tools. Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or enterprise-wide change initiatives.
