Job Overview: The process technician supports the Process Engineer in all his activities of cost savings initiatives related to molding cycle time, scrap, machine utilization and resins. Responsibilities: Reduce molding cycle time and reject rate Develop most cost-effective resin blends Develop process conditions to use the most cost-effective resin blends Develop molding processes of all new products and/or molds Collaborate with others to obtain best machine uptime Trouble shoot process problems Operate injection molding machines Ensure and enforce compliance with all legal regulations and company policies Position Requirements: Experience: Minimum High school. Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a plastics processing environment Licenses/Certification: Certification in Industrial Technology is preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Set up new injection molding tooling Set up injection molding parameters Trouble shoot and resolve injection molding issues Process analysis and improvement Possess good teamwork skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills NDS is a market leader for solutions in Storm Water Management, Efficient Landscape Irrigation, and Flow Management for residential and commercial markets.
