We are offering one (1) different internship focused on Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) based in Denton, TX. Salary Range: $22-$25 / hour The duration of the Internship Program depends on the position, as specified below. Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas, relocation, or housing for these positions. What you will do Occupational Health and Safety Intern Duration: Short-term (May 31, 2027 - November 19, 2027) Full-time until mid-August, then part-time max. 20 hours/week The Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) team is dedicated to promoting a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment for all employees. Working alongside operations and business teams, the department supports safety programs, risk management initiatives, incident prevention efforts, and continuous improvement projects. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience with workplace safety practices while contributing to initiatives that strengthen the organization's safety culture and help ensure employees can work safely both on-site and in remote environments. Assist with workplace incident investigations by gathering information, documenting findings, and supporting corrective action follow-up. Support Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) audits, inspections, and compliance activities across the organization. Help manage OHS administrative tasks, including training assignments, risk assessments, action item tracking, and documentation updates. Contribute to safety awareness initiatives and programs that promote a strong culture of health and safety. Assist with monitoring and reporting safety metrics, trends, and improvement opportunities. Collaborate with employees and stakeholders to support safe work practices in both office and remote work environments. What You'll Learn Practical experience in workplace health and safety programs. Exposure to incident investigation processes and risk management practices. Experience supporting safety compliance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Opportunities to develop communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills while working with cross-functional teams.
