Build authentic, enduring relationships with mana whenua, community groups, and key stakeholders to support shared aspirations and outcomes. Embed Te Ao Māori principles, te reo Māori, and tikanga Māori into leadership practice, service delivery, and organisational culture. Champion a whānau-centred approach that places people, wellbeing, and belonging at the heart of decision-making. Lead the development of a skilled, culturally responsive workforce through coaching, mentoring, and a commitment to continuous learning. Drive strategic initiatives and innovative solutions that enhance community outcomes while ensuring strong operational performance. Connect people, resources, and opportunities to foster collaboration, local leadership, and sustainable community development. Key to this role will be your extensive management and leadership experience. You’ll possess strong engagement skills to support our established communities in the area. You will bring both strategic vision and operational excellence, with the capability to translate ideas into services, experiences and outcomes that respond to mana whenua and community aspirations.
