Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Banquet Houseperson Supervisor, you’re not just overseeing the setup and cleanup of all banquet functions – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. The Hilton Anaheim is looking for a motivated Banquet Houseperson Supervisor to join the team! In this role you will perform activities to support the overall event functions of the hotel. Our property has 1,574 rooms, is newly renovated and located in the heart of California's famous Orange County, adjacent to the Anaheim Convention Center and steps from the Disneyland Resort. Schedule: Open Availability, including AM/PM/Overnight, weekends and holidays are required.
The ideal candidate for this position will: Have 1-2 years of supervisor experience. Have facility set up knowledge. Have hospitality/hotel knowledge. Be able to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts. Be able to navigate computer systems and inputting data.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
• Delight our guests: Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to all guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make their experience special • Oversee a flawless event setup: Supervise and assist Houseperson team in setting up and breaking down banquet spaces, ensuring all event specifications are met • Maintain spotless event spaces: Lead and assist in cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, waxing floors, and disposing of trash • Support event operations: Help plan, organize, and execute banquet functions to ensure smooth and efficient event delivery • Collaborate for success: Lead and/or participate in department meetings to ensure the team is aligned and well-prepared for banquet operations
