Role Summary: Design, build, and operate robust backend services in Python and Java, using AI tools such as Claude and Copilot responsibly to improve productivity and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and integration components. • Write clean, testable, maintainable code and perform quality code reviews. • Contribute to architecture decisions and production troubleshooting. • Apply secure coding, observability, reliability, and performance best practices. • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Architecture, Security, Data teams, and product stakeholders.
AI Skills for This Role:
• Practical use of Claude/Copilot for coding, refactoring, debugging, and test generation. • Ability to write high-quality prompts for technical tasks. • Ability to critically review and harden AI-generated code. • Awareness of data security and IP/confidentiality constraints when using AI tools.
