MDM AE Platform developer
Primary Skills (Technical Core)
• MDM Platform Expertise: Strong hands-on experience developing, customizing, and extending MDM Advanced Edition platforms • Java & SOA Engineering: High proficiency in Core Java, JEE, Spring frameworks, OSGi modules, and building web services (RESTful/SOAP) inside the MDM runtime container. • Data Integration: Solid background in enterprise-grade data integration using ETL/ELT pipelines, Message Queues (MQ), and Kafka for real-time and batch streaming. • Database & Performance: Strong SQL/PLSQL skills for data profiling, complex querying, and database performance tuning (Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server). Secondary Skills (Ecosystem & Governance)
• Data Modelling: Experience with logical and physical enterprise data modelling across foundational domains (e.g., Customer, Product, Vendor). • Data Quality & Governance: Experience implementing data quality rules, profiling workflows, and customizing data stewardship user interfaces or workflows (e.g., ActiveVOS). • Cloud & Modern Infrastructure: Familiarity with deploying and hosting MDM platforms on cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized systems (Docker, Kubernetes). • DevOps & CI/CD: Practice with git workflows, automated testing frameworks, and automated deployment pipelines. • Hands-on AE Development: A minimum of 4+ years of dedicated experience customizing, configuring, and coding within the Advanced Edition (AE) / Physical MDM architecture of a top-tier tool. • Self-Motivated Execution: Proven capability to own modules from design to deployment, troubleshoot complex environment issues, and work independently. • Technical Mentorship: Demonstrated experience reviewing code, guiding junior developers, and collaborating directly with system architects. • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
