Roles & responsibilities ​ We are recruiting for a Assistant Manager in the Germany Audit Corporate team. Working as a Assistant Manager in this team, your responsibilities will include:​ Leading and managing a team of fresh graduates and experienced professionals working on audits for Germany​ Auditing financial statements of international clients and performing an in-charge role​ Act as main point of contact for departments and build strong relationships with key contacts in Germany​ Work with the senior management and key German contacts to develop business and grow the team​ Make regular contact with Germany to ensure staff are booked to audits and utilized effectively and take feedback on quality of work delivered​ Track key metrics related to type of work performed, quality of deliverables and feedback from Germany​ Develop and deliver training sessions based on the themes identified from onshore feedback and quality reviews​ Work with L&D team to identify training needs​ Work with Recruitment team to support hiring needs​ Act as the Performance Manager and lead the career development of team members​ Coach Seniors on performing reviews and developing their team members​ Motivate and develop Seniors to be effective team leaders​

Educational qualifications ​ Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (ICAI)​ ​ Work experience​ 2.5 to 4.5 year experience with a Big 4 in a client facing environment working with corporate and/or international clients Skillset​ ​ Preferred technical & functional skills ​ Technical skills:​ In depth knowledge of external/statutory audits and audit methodology as per Standards on Auditing​ Understanding of international GAAP, IFRS and Internal controls over Financial reporting.​ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)​ Proficiency/Working knowledge of Adobe Professional would be an added advantage​ ​ Key behavioural attributes/requirements​ Excellent written and verbal communication skills​ Excellent project management skill to be able to leverage large project with effective problem-solving approach.​ Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations without compromising on quality, and ethical standards and values​ Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments.​ Effective at inspiring and motivating team members in order to deliver high quality standards.​ Recognizing the developmental requirements of team members and set goals to achieve them.​ Analytical thinking​ Team Player​ Self-driven​ Ability to work independently and motivate team members​
