ICT Lead (Microsoft 365) - Fixed term until 30/09/2028 Waverley Court

Salary: £47,639 - £56,392 Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks per year Customer and Digital Services are looking for someone to join the Microsoft 365 specialists’ team who can ensure that our Microsoft 365 tenants and digital offerings are fit for purpose and developed to a high standard for the benefit of our business, customers and partners, and meets our legislative requirements. In particular, the ideal candidate will have experience of supporting the configuration, administration and ongoing management of Microsoft 365 and related cloud platforms. In particular, you will ideally have experience of managing SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Power Platform and Message Centre admin portals. You should have proven experience in day‑to‑day systems administration, support and project activities with M365 and associated cloud services, experience supporting data migration and managing content in Microsoft 365 and experience supporting first-line teams by providing guidance, sharing knowledge and assisting with task resolution. You will work in an exciting and dynamic environment which is at the heart of business change throughout the Council. You will work closely with other Microsoft 365 and security and governance specialists to ensure data protection arrangements align with information governance, security and compliance requirements. Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals. The Individual You will hold a degree in a relevant subject or have equivalent relevant experience. Experience leading Microsoft 365 data migration projects (SharePoint / Teams would be advantageous, as would experience with Azure, Entra ID and other Azure resources across the Microsoft cloud environment You will have good communication and organisational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines. You should have the ability to manage multiple tasks whilst being creative and innovative in providing solutions to digital challenges. You will be comfortable presenting and will be able to build effective collaborative relationships.
