Under the guidance of the Market Education Director, the Nursing Educator collaborates with facility/market nursing leadership and staff across departments to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate, and revise educational programming for all levels of nursing personnel and non-nursing personnel as indicated or requested. The educator acts as a key resource in the orientation and continuing education of nursing staff at Tenet Healthcare. The Nursing Educator implements a comprehensive education program for his/her assigned units while following and contributing to Tenet educational goals and vision. Educational programs typically include, but are not limited to, orientation, continuing education, and in-services. Other services may include, but are not limited to, process, performance and service-delivery consultation, and contributions to the organization through councils, committees, and workgroups.

• Implement and manage nursing education programs to support orientation, competency validation, and ongoing professional development for nursing staff, aligned with Tenet's professional nursing practice model. • Provide educational leadership and mentorship by coaching preceptors, supporting nurse residents, and serving as a role model to promote clinical excellence and professional growth. • Develop, deliver, and coordinate clinical education programs such as in-services, continuing education, specialty training, and competency-based curricula to enhance staff knowledge and performance. • Ensure regulatory compliance and educational quality standards by keeping educational programs current, revising courses as needed, and adhering to nursing education standards and regulatory requirements. • Lead and support key clinical quality and safety initiatives, including programs such as BLS certification, Accucheck, Fall Prevention, and other performance improvement activities across assigned service lines.

• Required: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, nursing education, or related specialty • Licensure/Certification: Current state licenses and certifications • Experience: 3 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting
