• Evaluate credit proposals for Cleantech Finance products including renewable energy, rooftop solar, electric mobility, energy efficiency, waste-to-energy, sustainability-linked and other green financing segments. • Assess borrower viability, project cash flows, equipment/vendor risks, technology risks, off-taker/payment risks, collateral structures, and regulatory or subsidy dependencies. • Ensure consistency of risk assessment with approved credit policies and risk appetite. • Provide independent, well-documented risk views for proposals presented to lending / sanctioning committees. • Product ownership is structured based on portfolio complexity, ticket size, and risk exposure. • M5 Level: Responsible for end-to-end risk oversight of assigned Cleantech Finance product portfolios of moderate complexity, including portfolio monitoring, risk analytics, governance reporting, and control on underwriting deviations. • M6 Level: Responsible for broader Cleantech Finance portfolio ownership across higher-complexity products and larger exposures, including renewable energy, electric mobility, sustainability-linked finance, vendor/program-based financing, and emerging climate-aligned lending opportunities.

2. Portfolio Risk Monitoring & Analysis

• Monitor Cleantech Finance portfolio performance, concentration risks, early warning indicators, technology/vendor exposures, policy deviations, delinquency trends, and emerging sector risks. • Conduct periodic portfolio reviews to identify stress pockets and improvement opportunities. • Support senior management reviews on large Cleantech Finance exposures, sectoral concentration, green portfolio performance, and product-wise risk-return trends. • Recommend proactive risk mitigation actions based on portfolio insights.

3. Risk Mitigation & Threshold Framework

• Support definition and monitoring of Cleantech Finance risk thresholds including exposure limits, borrower caps, project ticket sizes, equipment/vendor eligibility, customer segments, and sector concentration limits. • Track adherence to approved thresholds and escalate deviations with appropriate recommendations. • Work closely with business teams to balance risk prudence with sustainable growth.

4. Credit Policy & Product Governance

• Assist in formulation, review, and periodic update of Cleantech Finance credit policies, underwriting programs, risk acceptance criteria, and Delegation of Authorities. • Support development and rollout of credit policies for new Cleantech Finance products, partnerships, vendor-led programs, and enhancements to existing green financing offerings. • Ensure alignment of product structures, underwriting parameters, and credit decisioning with policy intent. • Review product- and segment-wise risk segmentation to support portfolio monitoring and ECL frameworks. • Provide timely and independent risk advisory to various lending committees. • Ensure adherence to defined TATs for risk review, documentation, and committee submissions. • Support preparation of risk notes, green portfolio insights, sector updates, and decision support material for senior forums and lending committees. • Promote a strong risk culture through consistent application of risk frameworks and policies. • Stay abreast of regulatory changes, green finance developments, renewable energy market trends, climate-risk considerations, and policy developments impacting Cleantech Finance. • Participate in learning initiatives to strengthen product and credit risk capabilities.
