Role description:

The End User Support Engineer based in Warrington, will be responsible for delivering Local Service Operations support in-person and in-country, providing a customer-centric, secure and reliable workplace technology experience for Arcadis users.

Role accountabilities:

• Part of the LSO team delivering day-to-day support in country, as directed by the LSO Manager. • Deliver to agreed processes, SLA/OLAs and standards, adhering to best practice. • Provide LSO support to Arcadis staff across assigned office locations. • Participate in PC refresh, break/fix and endpoint lifecycle activity for the country. • Participate in delivery of Tech bar services in country, where provided. • Ensure services are delivered to agreed policies and procedures. • Provide hands-on support for Tech services where required. • Be on site every day, daily office attendance keeps our colleagues fully supported. • Help improve LSO practices and monitor delivery against agreed KPIs and SLAs. • Work closely with the wider Digital Locations teams to improve collaboration and User Experience. • Help Tech improve the availability of services in-country. • Act as a trusted member of the regional LSO team. • Provide advice and guidance to the LSO Manager in your areas of expertise. • Contribute to the local LSO team, sharing knowledge and best practice. • Provide advice and guidance to users and Tech colleagues in your areas of expertise. • Support new joiners within the team, providing training and advice. • Support workload planning for the country and provide cover as required. • Delivery of Local Service Operations. • Implement agreed global and regional Digital Locations practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in endpoint support, local technology support or IT service delivery, with a proven ability to provide effective technical support to users within multinational engineering, professional services or similarly complex organizations. • Strong practical experience supporting endpoint devices, including laptops, desktops, peripherals and associated workplace technologies, ensuring reliable and effective day to day user support. • Demonstrated experience diagnosing and resolving endpoint hardware issues, including break/fix activities, device troubleshooting and replacement or repair coordination. • Good understanding of digital workplace technologies and endpoint environments, with the ability to support users across a range of devices, applications and workplace services. • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose technical issues, identify appropriate solutions and resolve incidents in a timely and customer focused manner. • Experience supporting device deployment, configuration, maintenance and lifecycle activities, helping to ensure endpoint technology remains secure, reliable and fit for purpose. • Strong service oriented mindset, with a commitment to delivering a positive end user experience and providing responsive, professional technical support. • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and engage effectively with users across different levels of technical capability. • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams, contributing to shared objectives and consistent service delivery. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple support requests and maintain accurate service and asset information. • Experience working within established IT service management processes, supporting consistent incident, request and operational service delivery practices. • Degree level education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or another relevant technical discipline is desirable, or equivalent practical experience. • Relevant technical certifications in endpoint technologies, Microsoft platforms, IT service management or related disciplines are desirable.
