Job Summary
The Producer is responsible for the planning, development, and execution of high-quality video and television programming across multiple TCT productions. This position provides creative and editorial leadership throughout the production process, from initial concept and content development through live or recorded execution.
The Producer works closely with hosts, guests, production staff, and other internal teams to develop compelling, ministry-focused programming that is engaging, accurate, timely, and aligned with TCT's mission and creative vision.
The Producer will have primary responsibility for coordinating production elements, managing show flow and timing, making real-time production decisions, and ensuring each program delivers a polished and professional audience experience.
The Producer contributes to engaging, ministry-focused programming for TCT Today, Ask The Pastor, Dorinda Show, Frankly Speaking, New Creation Woman, Book of the Month Club, and other productions, supporting the overall creative vision and audience experience of the network.
Essential Functions
• Lead the planning and production of television and video programming from pre-production through final execution.
• Develop and shape program content, segments, topics, interviews, and storytelling elements in alignment with TCT's mission and audience.
• Exercise strong editorial and creative judgment to enhance program quality, relevance, accuracy, and audience engagement.
• Collaborate with hosts and production teams to establish segment structure, show flow, pacing, timing, and overall storytelling.
• Take ownership of the run-of-show and ensure all production materials are accurate, complete, and production-ready.
• Coordinate and manage guests, including booking, communication, preparation, scheduling, and on-air support.
• Identify and gather necessary production elements, including graphics, video, features, scripts, and other supporting materials.
• Lead or coordinate live and recorded productions, managing timing, transitions, cues, and in-show adjustments.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with hosts, directors, crew, and production staff during live broadcasts, including through IFB and other communication systems.
• Establish and manage remote guest connections and troubleshoot production issues as needed to ensure a smooth on-air experience.
• Provide direction and support to guests before, during, and after appearances.
• Make real-time decisions regarding show flow, timing, content, and production adjustments while maintaining overall program quality.
• Partner with production leadership and other creative team members to continuously improve programming and audience experience.
• Ensure productions are organized, prepared, and executed efficiently while meeting established deadlines and production standards.
• Monitor production details and proactively identify potential issues before and during production.
• Maintain a professional, collaborative, and solutions-oriented presence in a fast-paced production environment.
Production Planning & Additional Responsibilities
• Lead or assist with production planning, including identifying staffing, crew, equipment, studio, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with other departments as needed to ensure production readiness.
• Provide guidance and support to Associate Producers and other production team members.
• Serve as a backup for other Producer responsibilities and production functions as needed.
• Contribute ideas for new programming, segments, formats, and creative approaches.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, Media Production, Television, or a related field preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in television, video production, broadcast, or digital media, with demonstrated experience producing content.
• Experience producing live and/or recorded television programming preferred.
• Experience with studio production workflows and production equipment.
• Familiarity with video editing and production software, including Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience coordinating guests, show content, and multiple production elements preferred.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
• Ability to stand, sit, stoop, pull, kneel, talk, and hear as needed for the role.
• Use hands/fingers for operation of equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, carry, and reach.
• Occasional travel and outdoor conditions may be required based on production needs, reach, pull, and push.
