Standard Fiber is seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead second-shift warehouse operations at our Henderson facility.

This is an active floor-leadership position for someone who knows how to organize the work, direct employees, solve operational problems, and maintain clear expectations for safety, productivity, accuracy, attendance, and conduct.

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee warehouse associates, leads, and temporary employees while coordinating receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping activities. The right candidate will be visible on the floor, comfortable making decisions, and prepared to hold the team accountable for results.

What You’ll Do

• Direct daily receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping activities.

• Supervise warehouse associates, leads, and temporary employees.

• Establish work priorities and allocate labor based on workload, staffing, customer requirements, and business needs.

• Train, coach, evaluate, and provide day-to-day direction to assigned employees.

• Establish clear expectations for productivity, accuracy, safety, attendance, and conduct.

• Lead shift meetings and communicate daily priorities, performance expectations, and safety requirements.

• Monitor operational performance, investigate problems, and implement corrective actions and process improvements.

• Exercise sound judgment when resolving staffing, workflow, inventory, equipment, and safety issues.

• Coordinate with Inventory Control, Transportation, Fulfillment, and other departments.

• Ensure the proper use of warehouse space, equipment, materials, and labor.

• Help maintain compliance with company policies, customer requirements, OSHA regulations, and established safety standards.

• Conduct routine facility inspections and report maintenance, safety, cleanliness, equipment, and security concerns.

• Ensure that machinery and warehouse equipment are operated only by trained and authorized employees.

• Oversee warehouse and facility cleanliness, including offices, common areas, restrooms, the lunchroom, and parking areas.

• Complete assigned opening and closing responsibilities, including securing the facility.

• Participate in employee selection and make recommendations regarding hiring, promotion, corrective action, and termination.

• Occasionally assist with warehouse activities during peak periods or operational emergencies.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• At least three years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or related experience.

• Experience directing employees and coordinating daily warehouse operations.

• Previous supervisory or warehouse leadership experience preferred.

• Knowledge of receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping operations.

• Ability to establish priorities, assign work, manage performance, and hold employees accountable.

• Sound judgment and the ability to make timely operational decisions.

• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and material-handling equipment.

• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency with warehouse management systems, email, and standard business software.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification, if required.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.

• Bend, reach, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.

• Inspect warehouse areas, storage racks, machinery, equipment, and facility conditions.

• Work around moving equipment, noise, dust, and temperature changes.

• Wear required personal protective equipment and follow established safety procedures.
